Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Students,Welcome to Castle Rock Elementary School, home of the Knights, where our students “are changing the world.” We are excited to share all the enriching programs, exciting events and academic learnings happening at our school and encourage you to explore our website often.
Castle Rock’s goals are to build upon the successes and programs it has in place, continue to improve student achievement as well as encouraging every student to become a global citizen. We are proud to be an International Baccalaureate Primary Years school for the past seven years! As an international school, we provide a rigorous academic environment, teach our children to become inquirers, and develop a global perspective, along with skills necessary for success in the 21st century.
Our programs include a 35 computer technology lab, 2nd-5th grade Spanish classes, a before school “Let’s Learn Chinese Class” for 4th and 5th grade students, intervention and enrichment before and after school classes as well as leadership opportunities through Student Council and a conflict managers student program.
It is my belief that it takes a group effort to educate our youth. It is very evident by Castle Rock’s successes that the staff and community share in that same belief. I encourage you to continue to be involved in your child’s education by volunteering, attending events and sharing your thoughts with me.
